Sorry it won’t, the beta has ended, if you install it it’ll only work if you set your calendar to a date before Jan 1 2009.

Aww really, well that sucks. Oh well, I’m moving to the htc fuze from the G1 and it seams like it has tons of different interfaces i can use like the Bell UI. Is there a site for this or maybe a new beta, because this really reminds me of android os, well sorta and seams great.

There’s a team working on getting Android to work on the Diamond (and possibly the Pro/Fuze), but at the moment it’s incredibly buggy, and there’s no public beta.

yea, i have seen some videos of it, you can make calls, browser the web and text and such, its just buggy like you said and still a bit laggy, i really cant wait till they get it fully working though, since it is such a great os IMO

tried to install the iphone app “look alike” on my diamond earlier today, but it failed when adding theme, i get it and all but the icons and clock is fuked up, guess its not 100% compatible.
